This is Talbert Regional Park located in Costa Mesa. To get to this park I took the 55 South and took the exit onto Victoria St.. This park is very big so when you are done with your hike you can stick around and explore or relax at the park. The park is open Sun-Sat: 7:00 a.m. - sunset. Now with the time change sunset is around 5 p.m., just something to keep in mind. Since the park is big I didn't record my hike but I did walk for an hour then called it a day.

This is a dirt trail hike, some of my favorite are dirt trails which is why I was really excited to check this one out. For a while I was going on hikes with cement and I personally prefer getting my shoes dirty. There is street parking as well as a private parking lot. It is kid friendly most are seen on strollers, for pets you must have them on a leash. Now that we are seeing the sunset at an earlier time I recommend doing this hike during the day. The new item I recommend bringing to hikes is a warm sweater since it's getting colder outside. The usual items I carry are water, hat, sunglasses, hiking shoes/ boots, and sunscreen.

What makes this trail different is that it is a dirt trail and you are amongst plants and stuff, so it is important to stick to the trails. This trail is really close to a river bed and you can see houses towards the back. Which makes this hike seem not so secluded as my previous ones. I really enjoyed this hike because when I went there wasn't as much activity and I prefer to hike alone and feel like I am really connecting one to one with my surroundings and myself. I would give this hike a solid 8.5/10. If you do check this hike out make sure to take lots of pictures of the scenery. #EVE #EndlessViewsExplored
