Carbon Canyon Regional Park

perezeleidy

This week I went on a hike to Carbon Canyon Regional Park. This park is very big so I did have to pay for parking it was only five dollars. I took the 57 North took the exit onto East Lambert Road. Once you come into the park you are going to make a left turn after paying and the hiking trail will be at the end of the parking lot. There is going to be a path where you can take pictures but at the end of that path there will be an opening to the side leading onto the trail.

If you are into a more scenic hike then this is the hike for you. At the end of this path is the hiking trial so you will walk downhill and behind the trees. This is a dirt trail so watch out for pot holes and cyclist. I would recommend a walking stick to help you with the incline coming back up the trial.

What makes this trail different is that it is more scenic and it's attached to a park is also a bonus. I am not really into hikes that have constant foot traffic I prefer the secluded hikes. For me hikes are a way to get distracted and I want to feel like I am removed from anything in the outside world but this hike is an exception. I didn't track how long my hike was but I did walk for an hour then headed back to my car.

I highly recommend this hike it was very beautiful and peaceful in the morning. I did feel like I was alone even though there were people around me. I recommend hiking shoes/boots because this trail does get muddy as you can see in this picture above. I hope you guys enjoy this hike because I did! #EVE #EndlessViewsAhead
