This week I decided to take a very local hike/ walk. This is Centennial Park in Santa Ana it is on the corner of Fairview and Edinger it has free parking. This trail walks you throughout the park so you get to enjoy the pond, local soccer games, basketball, and much more. If you come on the weekends it can be a bit crowded. This hike is 1.2 miles it'll take you an average of 21 minutes to finish.
If you like a more active scenery this is the hike for you because you'll find so much activity. The great thing about this hike is that once you're done you can relax at the park or watch some of the local free sports. If you have kids or bring your siblings there is also a playground for them. There are a number of street vendors as well, if you head down to the pond you can also see ducks. Dogs are allowed they must be on a leash the whole time.
This park has gone through many renovations through out the years. They have a new remodeled skate park, basketball courts, and soccer fields. I personally would rate this park in my top 5. For me it's because it's local, free, and there is so much social life on weekends that make my overall experience. Besides it is an easy and simple hike to do.
