I went on a hike in Irvine over the weekend. This trail is called Quail Hill Loop Trail and it is 1.8 miles. This hiking trail is right off the 405 South. I really enjoyed this hike even though I did it around 1p.m. there was a nice breeze coming in and constant clouds so the sun wasn't as bad. The hike itself took me about an hour and I was going at a comfortable speed. Parking is free and this hike offers five vista points. The vista points were just little spots where you could step off to the side and take some pictures of the view. I would say this is an easy hike, it does have one steep incline but it's not anything too challenging. Dogs are allowed on a leashes.
WARNING: watch out for cyclist and rattle snakes!
As someone who loves photography, vista points would be so good for me. On the other hand, I am not good with rattle snakes. Thanks for the warning!
